C'mon peep em. By style I mean several things. Let's get in-depth shall we ya?
Name up atleast 3 styles. For instance mine is realistic tricks, on natural obstacles(little tree trunks, ghetto looking bricks, w.e) preferably outside on a sunny day.
Ye mines a bit wack, I'm sure yours is too. Share em!
You can be creative, whatever.

I pop my tricks about 6 inches above the ground, I flip the tricks really slowly so they just finish the flip before they hit the ground. Catch the board about two inches above the ground. i dont like obstacles that loom like mini trash cans or real life things because i think it looks cheesy plain ramps and rails made to be fb ramps not mini skate obstacles.

Haha it was the first thing I thought of blosom, my style is probably just trying to be realistic, I don't pop my tricks very high and I'm yet to really learn any of these crazy flatgroun tricks I see being done by some folks

I'd say mine is fast-paced.
Roll in, pop high, flick fast, catch and roll out.
When I grind, I try to ramp it in my mind. Land, start slowly, then as I end it I slide out quickly.
I guess I'd say I ride in a dramatic fashion.
I have a small bag of tricks too, but I do each one well. I don't do tricks when I sesh until I really master them.

I like it keep it realistic. Tricks that you'd see in a skate video. I directly related fingerboarding to skateboarding, like when I try to land a new trick, I think about how it's done on a skateboard then do it on a fingerboard. Except I'm way better on a fingerboard than a skateboard.

I like to keep the realism in it. Not tricks that are impossible to do on a skateboard. Or I like to do combos on rails.
But mostly I keep it realistic. I pop my tricks low if i'm fingerboarding flat with a few obstacles. But if I want to do rail tricks I pop my tricks adequate height.

Realistic, i hate when people keep an extra finger on or go back then forward or start right next to the obstacle there using i like to be able to visualize skateboarding but with my fingers.

My style usually changes depending on what I'm doing. For instance..
When practicing, my style is slow, cautious, and mellow. Perfection is essential. I go slow and focus in on my tricks, making sure I get everything perfect. I land snappy, but lightly at the same time.
When showing off in front of people, it's go big or go my ass home. The sky is the limit. Big gaps and insane air impress easily. Think DC skatepark. Double its volume, and you'll have a pretty good idea.
When I'm just laying down my usual lines for fun, it's all about aggression. High speed, massive distance, and with a heavy landing. Tricks are fast, usually sketchy, but that's okay because I like that. Flip tricks stay low, quick, and easy, and ollies stay high, but more far than high. Grinds that are 5 inches or less usually result in nothing more than a quick kiss - Ollie big distance to object, *PING*, I'm off.
Regardless of what style I'm in the mood for, I like to be outdoors. On the street or at a park or just fingerskating a bunch of scrap I found lying around. Doesn't matter as long as it's outside.
Oh! I'm sure this last one applies to just about everyone, but I like to fingerskate with people. Out of every activity I've ever done with friends, fingerboarding is by far the funnest.
Addition: I noticed a good number of posts saying they prefer the realistic style. I respect this, and when I watch vids, it's normally what I'm looking for. However, I don't personally like my style being realistic. Realistic for the most part, yes. But I consider skateboards and fingerboards two different things. If the physics will allow it, then to me, it is classified as a valid fingerboard trick regardless of what it is. I consider this among all things when I'm looking to get creative with my tricks. Anything that can be done with a skateboard can be done with a fingerboard.. AND THEN SOME. That's what I like about it

I really don't know what my style is, and have difficulty trying to describe it. I guess i just want to do tricks that i want to do, what i know i'll be stoked about when i land, can be as simple as a kickflip, so yeah..
If anyone wants to describe my style for me, feel free.

I would say mine is realistic, technical, freestyle.
OK, I have a few unrealistic tricks but it's all in the spirit of freestyle as visioned on a fingerboard. Everyone says I'm pretty sketchy though, I can't pull off all my weird tricks perfectly clean.
Subject: Re: What's YOUR Style? Mon Nov 07, 2011 4:49 pm
Ermm I guess my style is fast and raw I don't add any extra style onto my tricks, I just leave it how it is, whether it be sketchy or clean!

anti-german steeze at least. my style varies alot on what tricks/videos i make. example: when i make vids for realdeathcrew i intend to just do a whole bunch of fast random impossibles and stuff, but when i just fingerboard without the whole rdc mindsetting i just fingerboard mellow.
