Hey, just asking what you think that is the best setup for around 100€? Because I'm asking a new setup for a christmas present from my parents. I think that I am going to get Yellowood, but don't know which trucks and wheels I should pick.. Thanks

this is totally debatable, but however seeming as you've already chosen your deck - Get BRR trucks. And TKY bushings if you like to ride loose. As for wheels, depends on whether you like super grippy (oaks), medium grippy (substance, winklers), or only slightly grippy (flatface). Then you can just get a BRR version of those wheels (except oaks as all oaks are brr/y truck ed) - flatface being the cheapest. My personal preference is winkler wheels, but the substance thc3s do tempt me.

Get an all european setup like me
Lowpro/yellowood/berlinwood
Ytrucks
Oak wheels/winklers/substance
riptape/fbs

lowpro, ytruck, winklers, fbs

simples

Yellowood P-6 or A-6 deck, which is 25 Euro
Ytrucks (better than BRTs IMO)
Substance wheels (pretty and delicious)

the yellowood comes with free slimtape and theirs is the besttttt IMO.

the problem with brts is that they require special wheels. if he ever wants to try out some new wheels they have to be brr edition which is not a lot of selection. he would have to buy new trucks as well.
Ytrucks fit everything and they are cheaper.

having tried both, I strongly feel Ys aren't as good. They're better than wides, but I think the best of the best is BRRs, for turning and grinds. AND.. brrs with locknuts, i.e. any new set of brr trucks, fit all wheels. Or, there are some issues with wheels like g6s, but they're a wheel of the past if you ask me, brr ed is what all new single bearing wheels are turning in to, because they're exactly the same on wides, and they fit on ytrucks too. The most popular ff wheel materials are in brr ed, all substance single bearings are brr ed, and all winkler wheels are brr ed. So no real problem at all.

I mean, I hate to bring up an age old debate, but if you have the money, get brrs. soo worth it.

they are 35 euros, he doesn't know what he's on about currency wise as he made a few other errors in that post too - just assume what should be euros are euros haha

If you want something brand new, order a Daliri 1.5 (More concave) or Daliri classic deck and Neotape from Daliri Fingerboards and Manila Fingerboard Inc. I swear it's just as good as major brands but since it's an asian brand, it's not as famous.

Then get BRRs and Oaks.

I didn't choose Oak wheels because I don't like so much grippy wheels. That's around 108 euros. Let's see if I get these and I post picture of them

Yellowoods are good because it comes with their heavenly slimtape
also be prepared for the paint on the brr trucks to chip when you grind. thats why the supersilver ones are so popular.
