The guy who did like 200+ kickflips in a row on a fingerboard! Haha, ridiculous. I always wished his videos were a little higher quality, though...
Sucks to see a fellow fingerboarder go!

Holy Shit! That guy is one of my favourite fingerboarders of all time! Like 2 years ago I had a company called Lethal Ramps and he tried out. He was soo good even then but because im an idiot I didnt sponsor anyone.. So sad The Fingerskate Later to be known as Wangster Decks found him and sponsored him! If he had a better camera he would be sooo boss, and like Gary said he did 234 kickflips in a row on film!

SHIT SHIT SHIT.... FIRST IT'S 9KARMA9 NOW ITS STEEZY!!!!!
I can understand taking a break, but full on quitting something is crazy... I've never "quit" any of the hobbies I started to get into enough to sell a decent amount of stuff. I've really own quit Warhammer (gay) and snowboarding (couldn't afford to keep doing it). But everything else like Dungeons and Dragons, Astrojax, Yoyos, Trumpet and Magic the Gathering I still either do everyday or on occasion...
I don't see anything wrong with continuing a hobby even if it's on a once a month basis...

Some people are just like that. It stinks.
I'm the same as you, though. I spent so much time not only fingerboarding but developing relationships/friendships that I'd hate to see go. I know if I were to quit fingerboarding and come back years later, I'd be welcome with open arms (not that I'd ever quit).
I know that when I'm older, there are two possibilities: I may be more prominent in the scene than ever, fingerboarding around the world, or I may just be a normal adult with a day job who fingerboards for fun like 99% of the other fingerboarders. It's fine with me, and I'll just keep riding on!

Hold up. Gary Chin is on this forum? Welcome man!
Also some people dont really quit, they just take a temporary hiatus from things for some reasons. I had to quit playing M:tG for like a year because it was time consuming to go to tournaments and whatnot and school was a bitch. Sometimes you have to prioritize things y'know?
