| Today I was shaping a deck, and my middle finger (lol) got too close to the sander and it took a chunk of my skin off the top of my Distalinter-phalangeal joint ( yes, i googled it). If i didn't pull my hand away as fast I did..... omq... cool story huh? |

| i did this a while back.
luckily the belt was really worn so it didn't do too much damage to my finger.....the deck i was sanding flew across the room as i was putting a lot of pressure on it.....sanded my finger knuckle nicely.
its dangerous business making decks. |

| That sounds horrible! Glad to know you still have your finger haha. I remember my friend sanded away two of his fingers in woodshop. I didn't see it happen but I saw his wound and it was nasty as heck! |

| This is off topic-ish but my dad has lost the very last segment of his middle finger to a motorbike chain you can see the very point at where your nail starts to grow. |

| fuckin lolled ^
we know this guy who is a landscape gardener and he was mowing a lawn when he went over a bump too fast the mower tipped, he stuck his hand out and the blade cut off two of his fingers. It was sad because his other job was making tiny jewellery, he now can't do that due to not having 2 fingers.. |

| One time, I was rubbing my Seed wheels on paper, and holding the paper down with my left hand.
I didn't notice how hard I was pressing it down, I got a paper cut in the flap between your index and thumb.
Paper cuts are only for badasses. |
