Yeah, this thread was on FFI except it allowed for multiple decks/setups.

I will just post my pic of all my setups as of September 2011 and point out my favourite setups.



#1 Fav setup (row 2, board 1):

Some info about this setup: The Substance bearing wheels was the first professional fingerboard product I ever ordered and they were so good that I had confidence in the hobby to keep doing it and buying more things. They've lasted very well since 2008 and are some of the best wheels I've got. The Berlinwood old mold decks were really hard to obtain, I waited many weeks and months between stocks and finally managed to buy the regular one that I wanted. The deck is amazing and I had used it as a main for 3 years.

Info about this setup: I had loved skinny decks for a long time and the most suitable wide deck at the time for me was a BWNM but this was the first wide deck that I could skate perfectly fine with. It's so amazing because it's unique, looks amazingly and performs amazingly. The Ytrucks are really great for turning and the original Close Up bearing wheels just have the perfect shape and grip and also look really realistic (to skateboarding).

Info about this setup: Close Up was the company that I bought my first wooden fingerboard deck from. I had a natural G1 deck, a skull hand white G2 deck, a red skull hand G3 deck and this black one completes the collection. I've had this for a couple of months before I got sponsored and loved it so much I kept using it even when I had a new Close Up G4 setup. I've worn down the decks, wheels and bushing to exactly how I like it. I've skated it so much that the tape is wearing though.

The numbers of the fav setups does is not any form of ranking, it's just the order of when I owned them.

I loved these 3 setups so much that I've tried to recreate them to some degree. My fav setup #3 was easy to recreate, row 1 board 8 is pretty much the same as the other setup, just not as worn in. The top packaged deck is also a new deck with the same graphic with new parts in the pack too.

As for the BWOM, I tried many times to recreate this. These are the setups that followed it:
Row 2 board 2 - Blosom 25mm, old Riptape, China regular trucks, No Comply V6 dual backless bearing wheels.
Row 2 board 9 - BWNM Blackriver red camo, old Riptape, BRT 2.0 super silver, Winkler BRT ed. (the blue camo setup was an attempt to improve this setup)
Row 3 board 1 - Pure 26mm x 99mm, Wangster tape, self shaped China regular trucks, prototype Cartwheels.

An attempt of an improvement of the Kulture split ply setup was the one next to it:
Row 3 board 8 - Kulture 2011 new shape metal bottom 30mm, Snow tape, China wides, Close Up bearing wheels.

I still have the goal of recreating those 2 setups but I'll want a new Pure 26mm (maybe dyed this time), a new Kulture 29mm (maybe another split), some more Ytrucks X3. I doubt I will find any but some old Riptape would be awesome.
