I'd like to thank the 4-5 riders who helped me test the wheels, You all did a great job by giving me feedback which helped me iron out the problems I was having.
To start, the wheels sold will be black or blue. I will announce when new colours are available!
To start, I have a review from Finn. I sent him the wheels for winning a small competition. These are the first 'completed' wheels. Here it is;
simon cartledge [26/11/2011 19:50:45] Finn: Cartwheels review.
Note before review: I'm not good at making reviews
Picture:
Shipping: Shipping took 1 day which is standard Uk shipping time he sent it out the day when he said he would. Came nicely packaged in a jiffy bag/bubble mailer it came in very nice packaging which I would take a picture of but I have the old less detailed packaging. 10/10
Price: In the introdution post.
Craftmanship: The wheels are very well made they have a nice shiny base which is very like any other wheel I've used. Unlike a lot of single bearing wheels, these wheels are backless which I personally beleive is an advantage for the wheels. My only problem with this is that there is a small part at the back which sticks out very slightly on about 2 of the wheels. Only a minor imperfection. The only other thing I noticed about these wheels was that the front of the wheels weren't completely flat but not by a massive amount. It's just a tad bumpy on the sides but that doesn't affect anything when it comes down to using them. Also these wheels are very consistantly shaped as they should be which is very good for a new company. Overall for craftmanship I'll give a 9/10
Performance: The performance of these wheels are very interesting; they have a very smooth feel to them but trust me the smoothness is different to any other type of wheel you'll ever try. I think it's just due to the size and it makes them feel really really nice to ride on. At first they feel a bit odd because of the difference to other wheels but after around a day it kicks in and you feel the awesome of these wheels. The wheels have a slight "bump" to them but this is only due to the bearings and it's hardly noticable. Overall for performance I give them a a 9.5/10
Overall: These wheels are some of the best wheels I've ever tried. They have a really nice feel to them and they have a bloody cheap price considering the craftmanship and performance. These wheels have also come in more designs and colors. Hopefully they will be out soon. Overall: 9/10
