So I asked my mum what she wanted for Christmas, she says "Will Young's CD".
First of all, I'm not buying her a CD, as she never listens to them, unless she decides to do some hone development, of course this is not very often. Secondly, when she does listen to a CD, she has it on insanely loud, singing along with it, I had to hear adele's album on repeat all day, can you imagine that? I almost lost the will to live, she's so depressing. Finally, I'm not ever going to walk into Asda and buy will young's CD. This point is self explanatory.
Now I've decided to buy her a pillow with ny dog printed onto it, that's so shit. Who would want that? People are just so hard to buy presents for -.-
It's piss easy with my dog, just buy him a dog toy, he doesn't care, he just likes eating the wrapping paper.
Anyone else got similar problems?
And any better suggestions than a pillow?

I have no idea really, I'm shit at getting presents, except for my mum because she likes epic music, basically the same taste as me. So I got her this year pianos become the teeth - the lack long after on vinyl. I'm jelly as I want it myself, haha XD

I'm thinking if putting together with my brother to buy the complete collection on Lost on DVD, that should keep her busy until next Christmas.

This is partially the reason why I hate commercial Christmas.

Why do people have to worry about buying material goods? That's not what makes people happy... You know what makes people happy? Other people make people happy. The focus of our holiday season should be based on spending time with our loved ones and making memories... Not about buying amazing gifts. But instead, capitalistic pigs in suits who run retail businesses want to rape our credit cards and wallets for as much as they are worth... So they use Christmas as a sweet spot to help us dump our cash from our wallets to theirs.

I swear when I'm on my own I'm just gonna go find a cabin in the woods and enjoy hermit christmas every year...

(And don't even get me started on this whole Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays thing)

Only present I've bought this year is for my work's Secret Santa, only because I work at an English college. The guideline was only 50 yuan/5 quid.

Maybe you could get some toiletries gift set or something. You could also try making something. Maybe she'd like a WoW subscription, a Megadeth T shirt or a katana.

Or just buy her like a gift box with various soaps... That works too.
