my question is why are you guys think the wheels are so bad?

i shredding em for like 1,5 years now....

It's not that the wheels suck, it's that the company sucks. I don't remember the whole story, though.

Something with berlinwood. I forget the details but Nolliewheels sold decks named wickedsticks that were the exact same mold of berlinwood om.

I think it goes like this...

The owner bribed a berlinwood worker for the mold and the berlinwood worker stole it and gave it to the Nollie wheels owner for cash.

Berlinwood decks were made by a guy who then made a load others under the name Wickedstix (they were Berlinwoods in everything but name) and sold them himself, making money off the back of BW basically. Incredibly underhanded thing to do.

As far as I know, NW were in cahoots with Wickedstix, and supported them, which is a dreadful thing to do.

They also then severely dropped the prices of their wheels, completely undercutting shops like FBS which had to sell them at a specific price to recoup their money, meaning loads of stores lost money too.

Deplorable stuff
Nolliewheels don't deserve any support in the slightest.

I agree what they did is bad and shameful, BUT, their wheels are good. So people are caught in a catch-22 situation: The wheels are good but buying from NW means buying from a site that stole from the fingerboarding scene

One thing not mentioned here is the attempt to sue fb.de. I beleive fb.de had to close for a while due to it?

At that point in time BW was not part of BRR!

Timo had a carpenter who would make the decks. The carpenter saw a chance to make "easy" money and stole the mold to create Wicked Stix.

In the end, BRR ended up crafting decks for Timo instead of that rotten carpenter. Who knows what fingerboarding would be like if that event did not happen!?
