| hey everyone i have a little problem...
i got a new cammrea for christmas but windows movie maker 2011 does not support HD video's....
and i dont want to spend over 30 pounds/dollar/euro for a editing software that supports 1080p hp videos...
i have .mts file but i want .mp.. or .avi... but only then i can use windows movie maker.... or other software...
anyone have some solutions for me? thanks!

| yea dont use movie maker.. either pirate (id rather not) or just buy some editing on sale for 30 bucks.. its worth it |

I would also reccomend investing in some real editing software... Windows Movie Maker is just crap, anyone who has good edits does not use Windows Movie Maker. Hell even the shitty iMovie that comes with Macs is better than the like 8 years old piece of crap they threw onto Windows. Just find something on sale... There's no point in editing clips if you aren't going to have the software to back them up.
Also I would recommend trying to learn a bit about editing clips... Just because you have the means doesn't mean you have the ability. Go look up what makes a good edit and learn how to edit clips to transition on beats. Juuuust a tip. |

| There's windows live movie maker which you get when you download msn It's a tad better and supports more files. But I gave up on it and i just bought Sony vegas Hd studio platinum or whatever it's called and it's only like 25 pounds |
