Is there any sort of grouping of Canadian Fingerboarders? I mean I know FBHQ isn't directly for the UK but a lot of the UK members congregate here. I think we need to make more of an attempt to try and create a scene in Canada... Even though we seem to be spread thinner and farther apart.

Everytime I try to talk to Sid he kinda seems to just brush me off like I'm a fan of his or something... He doesn't ever talk to me as another fingerboarder haha

I'm just trying to assemble what's around for Canadians and seeing if we have a large enough base to even hold a real event. (I know there is a Canadian Fingerboard Event but I was looking to see what else we could do.)

I can imagine he'd do that a lot, no offence to him, but when you've got that many subs its probably just a reflex to treat everyone as a 5 year old.. annoying from your perspective though

Try get the basis of organising something on your own, and then get him to work with you that way maybe?

I knew that. But Sid and Mike are homeslices and that's probably the only reason he came up here.

Ah I forgot he was one of those people. Not only does he support Vachina companies for free gears but he rates people on subscriptions... Erryday he just looks better and better.

I don't know the Canadian Fingerboard scene just seems so lacking... I feel like more needs to be done, we have like one event and even still all of it's members are spread across a whole slew of social media... Even a Facebook Group would suffice for now.

the problem is with canada is that you could be within the same country but potentially a three day drive away.

and please dont invite sid to any meetups if you set one up max.

I'm from Canada, albeit a 2-3 day drive from any other fingerboarder.

I don't know for sure, but the owner of class A fingerboards is apparently from Vancouver. Can anybody confirm this?

idk bout class A. but yeah shipping is really quick for me for some reason. BRR parcels take maybe 6 days

Lucky. my flatface orders take 2 weeks, and my homewood order is taking almost 3 weeks (after shipment)
