| Yeah I though this could be an interesting topic........
I believe FSS is better, because he tends to support good companies (i.e Creekwood, Aphlikshun, NoCo) although he reps tech deck a bit too much.
Vicious is OK, but he supports china brands too much, and I don't like that. |

| whilst frankie's annoying songs, and 'yo yay' antics get annoying as fuck, I agree with you here. Sid reps some bad companies if you ask me. BUT sid also reps BRR and flatface, which I've never heard frankie do. Still, overall I think frankie is giving a better message, and doing something which kids can get involved with, which I guess is what kids like, so thats good |

| I prefer FSS, although he is quite silly at times but he gives out a good vibe to new fingerboarders. |

| FSS is great, he gets the message to kids whilst they're young, and doesn't promote China products! He's also just generally fun to watch, and I love how he genuinely finds it as a bit of fun, and doesn't have to be so serious all the time! |

| Frankie Pros: Supports small companies Interacts with his viewers Has his own chat forum for beginners
Cons: Cheesy editing and intros Doesnt show new people larger companies like BRR Isolated from the real scene
Sid Pros: Knows about the scene Connections with big names
Cons: Condescending to his viewers Generally shady trading tactics Very little non-product related videos Supports China companies
Frankie > Sid

| See, I have issues with both of these guys. In an ideal fingerboarding world, I'd direct beginners to follow Kerry/Unite if they didn't already. |

| Maybe I missed something, but I've never witnessed Syd be anything other than friendly towards people. Syd is one of the kindest fingerboarders that I have met!
On another note, can someone link me to FSS' channel? |

| I agree with many who say neither is a fantastic example, and I agree with those who say Begginners need to follow better examples like Kerry. But these two get a LOT of views, which shows that many people watch their videos, and they are persuading people to buy specific products. |

LOL this. They're products are OK, but 4cfb, Class A, and all these other dudes seem to have the same products and the companies have nothing made by the owner themself, its all imported from factories. With trucks, thats OK, but every company should have its own decks and wheels |

They have similar products because they are all probably buying from the same chinese distributor. 4C, Class A, StarFB, etc. all the same. owner has nothing to do with the production process |

| IMO Fss is showing kids how fun fingerboarding should be, he tells them sponsors aren't what you should be focusing on, and since they look up to him, some may listen. Also, he shows that the more expensive products aren't always needed unless you can afford it. I like that foo... |

| LOL I love FSS and watch it religously. While I really love Flatface, Blackriver, etc, I think frankie supports legit companies who's quality may be lesser, but is definitely still good at a WOOOOONDERFUL price |

| his "support mass-produced products" antics are getting old now.
I'm sure Sid is actually quite nice in person. Its just that he is misleading hundreds of potential fingerboarders in the wrong way.
I got into fingerboarding because of frankie. I bough a tech deck, wanted a wooden one, saw his review, looked at his other videos, and before I knew it, I was saving up for custom decks and such. |

This. Sid has made so many trades and so many review videos that he may not notice the trends, etc. That is most likely the problem. I like FSS because he has a really cheery personality that really eases you into fingerboarding, much like what I aim for on my channel with no vulgar language, lots of trick tips, etc... Sid is a great personality as well and we're pretty cool with each other, I do think that a lot of the trades are pretty unfair... maybe he has to realize that his position on YouTube means that he needs to pay extra attention to the trades he makes and the values of what he trades. |
