| First off, i just discovered this forum and it is awesome! There is much more conversation going on over here compared to FFI. You will be seeing me around more often. Now for my announcement. As you all may have seen/heard, I have decided to start up something new. Im starting a do-it-yourself one stop shop for fingerboard materials. The Fingerboard DIY website will feature a fully functional webshop, and a videos section containing extremely detailed tutorials on many DIY projects. In the next few days I will release complete deckmaking kit containing every material and tool you need to make a professional grade wooden fingerboard. This kit will include: 1 Perfectly symmetrical resin mold - Features: drilled holes, dowel pins, glue traps. 2 fine threaded c-clamps 5 pieces of premium, AAA grade veneer 1 small tube of glue 3 different grits of sandpaper Depending on machine costs, i may include a stencil at no extra cost. The kit will also give you access to: Personal phone support. Got questions? Give me a call! E-mail support Pictures! Any suggestions for the new company? Comments on the products? Feel free to post your thoughts! |

| Wow that looks really nice, this could make a good contribution to the fingerboard scene, but I feel like giving the mold out might now be a good idea :/ |

| How will making holes work? But Colin these are awesome. Hopefully there won't be too many 10 year olds who start companies from this |

| I honestly like it. If I had the proper tools to make my own decks, I totally would. But not to sell, to give to my friends and try to get them interested into fingerboarding.
Plus this is legit, top of the quality stuff, compared to like gatorfb. Which I like because it tries to steer new fbers into the right direction |

I dont really get why people starting companies is a bad thing. USA based companies are dying. Fast. If i can stimulate the growth of United States companies, then i am doing a good deed for the local US based community. I also find it ironic how people are telling me that supplying molds will hurt US based companies when these same individuals buy Berlinwoods exclusively. Not supporting your local companies by buying foreign is much, much worse than me selling molds. As stated above, selling molds could very well have a positive effect on the community. Thanks for the positive attitudes towards this product though! Looks like im doing something right. |

| This seems really sick. I want to start making my own decks. Not to start a company but just so I don't have to make them out of manilla folders anymore.
What's the pricing going to be? I may pick one up.
For suggestions you should do custom deck molds if you aren't already planning to. That would make it so not every deck is the same. Some people may want a deeper concave while some may want one more flat. |

Thanks for the positive attitudes towards this product though! Looks like im doing something right. haha you're right though. Many u.s. based companies are dying. I myself am ordering brr trucks and winkler wheels from a swat.cz, a czech based company, because the fact is, Flatface sells things more expensive, and I find flatface's customer service only so-so. EDIT: you never answered my question how will Making the holes work? Yeah I'm a n00b, sorry |

| I guess there will either be holes in the template he might include, or you will drill through a perfect deck |

| These are $45 on ebay type in fingerboard mold and it is the only good looking mold. I may buy one to make personal decks or maybe ask colin what a custom one for a new mold would be. |

I may buy one to make personal decks or maybe ask colin what a custom one for a new mold would be. I don't think Colin makes customs, if you custom, try NFB molds. Fantastically priced molds, considering there CNC'ed. But these molds are fantastic for those who make decks for fun. I mean, only $45? |

| There are holes in the mold, but it isnt pictured. You can drill the deck when its still in the mold. You can then use the template that should be released soon, and draw a perfect outline of the deck to cut out. They are now on ebay. I turned it into a kit for $5 extra for shipping. You cant beat that. Not for a kit of this quality. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130628984284#ht_4111wt_1158 |

| It should be worldwide. Ebay ducks when it comes to international shipping. There arent any options to add like $5 to the shipping cost if youre international. Ill look into modifying it though. Give me a few minutes. |

| Just a mold is $35 plus $5 shipping, so $10 less than the kit. Let me know if you want one! |

| I dont right now, but they will be available for sale separately. In the meantime, you could easily use a tech deck for the holes. |
