I'm interested to see if anyone on this forum watches anime and if so, what series. So yes, just post the series that you are currently watching and post your favorite series as well.
Currently I'm rewatching the re-mastered version of Cowboy Bebop and my pants have been jizzed numerous amounts of times due to extreme amazingness.
As far as my favorite series goes, it is hands down Samurai Champloo.

I'm not really into anime but I started picking up more shows just to diversify what I watch and to understand different cultures. I have a very faggy list of animes I've watched.
I am due to be without internet for a month in Beijing so I've downloaded TTGL, Chaos;head, kiss×sis (lol), PSG, K-On! (s1&2), Elfen Lied and I still have to finally watch Eva since I started this ages ago and for some reason have not finished yet. Also, I have Nichijou and HOTD to watch which I dled ages ago. I'll add Yuru Yuri to this list of downloads at some point before I leave.
As I said, I'm not really into anime but the recent shows that I did watch was Steins;Gate, Baka Test s2 and the first half of Fate/Zero.
I've also partially watched stuff like Pokémon, Naruto Shipuudden and One Piece in the past but I don't think I will want to catch up on any of those other than Shippuuden but it's a lot of effort and I'm not really a Narutard.
Oh yeah, I just realised my previous forum avatar showed my drawing of Haruhi-chan on my skateboard griptape; I've watched all the Haruhi animu there is including the Haruhi-chan and Nyoron Churuya-san ONAs. My current avatar is Suiseiseki from Rosen Maiden, desu! Watched that too.
Other shit I've watched include Lucky Star, Black Rock Shooter, Death Note, Loveless, MM!, OreImo, Queen's Blade and Angel Beats! <3
In case these animes aren't enough for my month in Beijing, I've also got a few visual novels to start on. I downloaded translations for Chaos;Head, Tsukihime and Clannad (already started this but it's not really my taste). I also have Fate/Hollow Ataraxia in Japanese but have no idea how to patch the current partial translation for it.
I also have a few anime figures, including this exclusive Konata Figma. I usually use anime figures with fingerboard proucts in pictures for my fingerboard reviews.
I still wouldn't consider myself a serious anime fan though.

MaxL, don't be quick to judge anime. It's a absolutely great genre with very unique shows. Implying that Anime is bad is just like saying all white people or all black people are bad.
Considering the variety of different genres that Anime covers, it is a diverse and wonderful type of television. You should really give it a shot, maybe try watching some of the more mainstream ones like Code Geauss or Death Note.
I even got my mom to watch Death Note, haha.
Also check out some of the Studio Ghibli films, they are absolutely amazing. If you ever have any Anime questions, you can run 'em by me haha.

a-channel is a failure in every sense, don't bother watching it. It's a really, really wierd series.
edit: just checked out ika musume, aka squid girl. o.0
I thought i'd seen it all....
Yeah, the first episode of a-channel is good but I heard the rest of the series isn't so great. In either case, I'll get it in case I run out of stuff to watch plus I should see for myself.

Haha. Xi knows what's going on.
I watched Death Note before it was even being talked about translated into English. I actually used to be a big anime watcher but the animes that have been coming out suck and I don't see any that hold my interest. They eat up a lot of time to watch anyways.
When I was watching anime it was like... we just watched it because it was interesting, I feel like now people do it because IT'S SO JAPANESE KAWAII DESU.
