Wood. Natural wood. It pops so well and has a sortof springy response to it. Granite and glass dont give a "response" when you pop the deck.

Neither does concrete but it's ether to skateboard on, I think certain types of wood can be a bit too spongey |

Slab granite counter top for me! Although, my all-time favorite place to fingerboard on was the dressers I had in college! I filmed Dynamic Symmetry on them. Such a nice material!

my absolute favorite place to sesh is on granite countertops, but glass if you have a big enough peice is just as good in my opinion. I love to use glass strips as manual pads because they feel so smooth. You can make any surface a granite surface though, this was brought up in a previous thread, but you can get some free granite peices from this site : http://www.builddirect.com/ ... check them out, i suggest getting their marble though, they give bigger samples of it

I think some woods can be good but grantie is a safe bet allot if not all grantie tiles are going to give you good pop but some woods feel soggy but a good wood is good for riding on! -Ben

I want to try granite/any other material like it. I usually fingerboard on my floor, which is like those wood floors that fit together, I can't remember the name. I sometimes fb on glass, but I don't really like it, I feel as if I'm on ice. Oh and sometimes I just fingerboard on a painted wooden table.
