| Saving for a camera, but wanted to get some input before i make any decisions. I was considering the aforementioned cameras, but any other suggestions are warmly welcomed. Thanks! |

| Can you give pros and cons? I know from experience a LOT of people talk out their asses and have no actual reasoning. |

| Heh, the VX2000 is so old school. The richfags from my area would use those for skateboarding.
To answer your question, we'd also need to know what you intend to use them for.
I am no expert in optical products but the Canon would be good for pictures as well as HD videos. You'll probably need a few other things like a tripod/handle and lenses.
For the Sony, it's good for skateboarding because of the built-in handle as well as being pretty good for its time. I think it uses DV tapes so you may need a DV interface card in your PC if you don't have one already (Firewire port).

| There's no point buying such an expensive camera if you don't even have a youtube yet/haven't experienced making a good, efforted video! Buy a flip cam, have fun, take it from there |

| Bottom Line: 60D is too much for me. And I've made videos before, just never fingerboarding vids. And It won't just be for fb, I also film skating. Justed wanted suggestions. |

| Get a 550D (T2i) then, the only differences are the "movable" screen and distant flash control.
Don't forget, with a camera like this, the basic lense is crappy. Better take lenses separatly, and only take those you need to. |

| If you film skating more, I'd personally get a vx2100 because I like sd videos for skating. If you film fbing more, get a t3i/t2i/etc. because hd tends to look better for that. But if you prefer hd more for skating then get a T3i/T2i/etc. |
