if you believe that story the BRT mold cost 1000s then your just as stupid as the people who think 45 euros is a fair price for the trucks.
but BRR do good for the scene....and like you say its business, so its all good. |

| Yes ross ________________ No BRR get's some of their stuff made in china though. alibaba doesn't necessarily sell them, you can get them Made though. But in all honestly, who's business is it? We aren't raping other big companies in the world that get their stuff made in china. The world really doesn't care. Aslong as a good product is being sold at a fair price. None of our business. |

| yea, I don't think BRR make their rails, but basically everything else. probably the same with the trucks. When you say 'your just as stupid as the people who think 45 euros is a fair price for the trucks.' ross, I don't agree with that. Thinking they COST that is stupid, but I don't see it as an unfair price by any means. Their pricing allows their products to be fairly distributed all over the world, and they give a ton back to the scene every second. Totally fair imo. YES, if someone went with a scematic, a good few thousand pounds at least for startup, and the money to buy in bulk, they could get trucks made and sell them probably half the price. But who's got all the money for startup? I'm sure woodywood and ytrucks both started off wanting to be as cheap as possible, but its just not viable to sell things retardedly cheap. There's nothing wrong with getting something made in china, there's something wrong with buying something premade off alibaba and claiming it to be your own. which is why the company of the OP looks a little silly |

| to answer your question.. - kerryDETH wrote:

I sell china trucks on fingersized. a) they're cheap as FUCK. b) it took no effort what so ever. I went to alibaba, brought a bunch for like 90 dollars or something, now I sell them. The end. The same can be done with decks, wheels, etc. That's what we hate, because those products suck. China is capable of making anything, those rails ray linked are using shitty quality materials to the ones BRR will be making them use, assuming thats where they're made. They also then get them engraved with the BRR logo on the feet. Are you under some illusion that most the things in your life aren't made in china? Paying for startup costs, designing a product yourself, and then getting it made, is perfectly fine. They get them made in bulk due to their demand I imagine. What we're all trying to combat is 'china' products, i.e. someone basically going onto a website, clicking 'buy it now', and then a week later starting a company with their 'own decks', and 2000% markup. |

i feel as though Ive dug myself a hole here...maybe i did say it a bit harshly.....its the net... im not hating on BRR, if thats the point your getting at, more just the price of BRTs.. its 45 euro because thats the price BRR dictate it is. im sure if that benchmark was not set, then other trucks would be cheaper also. 45 euro maybe is a fair consumer price, more the point i was trying to make is that the price they get them for is considerably less. but its like i said b4, BRR do so much for the scene and push fingerboarding and produce new products, so its all good. if they were not so heavily involved with pushing fingerboarding all over the world, it might be different. look at it this way, when you pay 45 euro for your BRTs you know a good chunk of that cash will go towards pushing fingerboarding in the future. not like buying china wide trucks, put them in a packet, put some branding on, then 900% mark up, and all that money going into the back pocket of the guy selling them from the boot of his xr31. |

| Well, brts etc are worth the cost to me, because I can't stand wides and I know they are a great company. But to anyone else, nobody's forcing you to buy anything. I mean, if there prices were lower it would probally be way harder to do what they do, as the fbing industry is not that huge. |
