| Isn't that just the normal t3?
But it's a dslr so get it. dslr's are tight for video. |

| I use one. If you want to use it mainly for video then don't get it. All the settings are automatic and you can only do 30fps max. For just getting into photography and if you want something simple then it's fine. Personally spending a bit more and getting a 550d/600d would be worth it. I regret getting mine and I really should have got a 550d. |

| Buy nice or buy twice. The 1100d isn't the greatest camera out there, but the camera is just a tool, it's your imagination that counts. |

| If you are buying a camera for pretty much just video do not buy any of the 30fps cameras... Save up and splurge on the 60fps... it will be smoother and you will be able to slow it down a little bit to do some slow-motion kind of stuff (instead of just getting a messy blur).
Those entry level models of camera for photography are for just that... photography. The video mode is usually just tacked on to entice a camera newb. |

| Yeah. Unless your getting something along the lines of a Nikon D70, dont expect good footage from a low end dslr. Again however, if ur buying purely for pictures, its a good buy. |
