| Are you really trying to argue this? I can't actually believe that you are wasting your time on something like this. To being with, anyone that hasn't fingerboarded before and looks at the "scene" would instantly think it was a joke. Personally, I hate the "scene". I don't treat it as a "scene". I fingerboard with my friends and have fun making videos. There is no "scene" for me, just friends. From personal experience, people take it way too seriously. I just like to be in my group of fingeboarding friends that eventually grows over time (Elliott, Harry, Victoria, Anton, Jack, Jimi, Rafi etc.). If you are with the "scene", you won't get anywhere. Before you say it, I don't make videos for the "scene", I make them for me and my fans. Hard to explain. Moving on. If you don't like the companies, then just ignore them. They are doing nothing to you and there is no need to insult them and make they feel awful. That's just bullying. They will eventually learn that they're company is crap. If it is, it wont take long. You want some sort of "approval" system? That is the most obnoxious idea I have ever heard. You don't need approval from "the man" in order to start a company. I can put money on the fact that flatface started off as a random company that no one liked/knew about. Your idea is ridiculous. If you don't like it, then ignore it. |

Your idea is ridiculous. If you don't like it, then ignore it. Okay, so your saying that the scene isn't real to you? In that case you'd be using tech decks because a scene is a community you don't see people on forums about tech decks. I don't think you understand, someone should not make one terrible fingerboard and then start a company to try and sell them, you need expirence I have been making FingerBoards for 5 years and have fingerboarded for 8. I could have bought a car with what I have invested in fingerboard making. I don't understand why you want to trash this idea, by trashing it you are allowing people to bondo a fingerboard buy veneer at hobby lobby and use some c clamps to make a terrible fingerboard to try to sell. If you don't have high quality Fingerboard making stuff your doing the exact same thing as the china selling companies, selling terribly made products with no love or care whatsoever. I dont care wether you care or not but I have stuff people can't get but would kill for stuff that doesn't come from a hardware store. |

| righty. ross is back. stop bitching at each other and play nice kids.
maybe a reason for me not logging on for so long is due to all moaning you guys do, all the arguing.
really. i know im a mod, but all you guys do is argue about crap.
one sentence. its golden when on a forum.
DONT FEED THE TROLLS.
a better man keeps his mouth shut laughing to himself as he knows he is right. he dont have to prove anything to anyone. especially on a forum.
really. id love to get some fingerboarding done/webstuff, but no i come back to the same old crap.
if you have nothing positive to say, dont bother.
jt. dont feed the trolls. why you feel you have to prove stuff to everyone? proof is in the pudding.
look at the title. convenient |

The main point I am trying to make is why should you care about kids making bad fingerboard products? How is that ever going to affect you? |

| It doesn't affect me in any way it other than the fact that it makes me feel like I've put too much work into this for other people to just make legit companies look bad.
Lock this thread I quit.

| People won't buy products that are lacking in quality anyway... Therefore the guy who makes those crappy decks, ramps, etc. will learn to eventually step his game up and it'll figure itself out.
If he doesn't improve... then he won't sell anything... then he'll inevitably close. |
