| They cost the same as a real skateboard but a real skateboard has much more wood than a fingerboard. I dont see why the trucks and wheels cost the same as real trucks and wheels becasue there a fraction of the size. Is it the manufacturing? thanks |

| Since they're smaller, there is more room for error in creating whichever part (not including tape). |

| The company's who create the trucks have to rent massive machines, the market isn't big enough for them to rent the machine as well as selling their products for a low price! I also think that products are really worth it, never mind what a skateboard costs, I fingerboard every day, it provides so much fun and therefore it is simply worth it Also, nobody questions the prices of video games! Just because they're more common ;0 |

| A lot of work goes into FingerBoards, also some of the materials can be expensive however anything on sites such as flatface or anywhere that sells them for $25+ is overcharging. I can see why mikes, and other high end companies cost so much as they have a cnc cut and drill their boards but I don't think it cost nearly what they charge. Buy decks from the smaller companies to help them build up and hopefully they will still sell them cheap. I sell mine for $15 a deck although there isn't much profit I look at it this way, I'm making miniature skateboards and I realize there isn't a big market for them so idc what I make profit however I can tell you I don't make much off each deck it's just what I love. |

no, the reason some are cheap is because kids make them in their basements with their parents and don't have any idea what it costs to run a business, and/or put any money into the scene to create big events that everyone loves. making things small is an expensive process, and a lot of decks are done by hand. Skateboards are made in mass, almost all the big companies don't make their own decks either, they're made by bigger companies most skaters don't see anything of. Which is why for example, enjoi, blind, cliche, almost, and probably someone else too, all have exactly the same mold. Its the resin 7 construction though, which is really nice I think - tons of pop. Some are made in the way a fingerboard is made - a third foot have their entire production done themselves in birmingham, UK. sick decks too. Skateboards aren't costing £50 to produce, its the markups for promoting, pushing the scene, and the stages of production passing in from producer to skate shop that give things such prices. |

dey tuk er jerbz! But yes, the level of precision required for the manufacture of fingerboards combined with the relatively smaller scale of production drives the prices up. |

| timeless question haha. yeah in theory they should be cheap because they're so small, but it's the amount of labour and complexity, as people have said above me. if you don't like the price, you don't need a really nice board to have fun, just make stuff out of whatever you can find. |

| The movements to make a BRT/bearing in a wheel is fractional.
Try and make something yourself, then you may understand. At the same quality as BRR/FF etc. |

| I buy from smaller companies or secondhand from ebay as far as decks, trucks and wheels I will pay higher for cause I feel it does make a difference in my opinion. I do think some ramps and obstacales r overpriced, such as bonsai, I make all my ramps, and a concrete curb should not cost. 45-50 usd since I can make them with the same basic mold for cost of concrete and mold plus I can keep making them since a bag of cement is around 4usd and wieghs 80 pounds.I think 15 would be a fair price. But u can get good stuff cheap if you look. |
