So, for all of us who follow skins, which I think is a fair few, we probably all know season six finished last night. Now we've just got one season left, which will be split into three short films of two episodes each, and I believe are going to bring back a gang for each short film.

That's next year though. Now? What did you think of the ending? I don't really like how frankie ended up, she was just all of a sudden caring about her mum and being a total bitch.. I mean she was a bit of a bitch anyway, but way more annoying for the start of this episode. It did however get a lot better as the episode got in, and the rest was great.

For me what summed up this season perfectly was the ending - the montage, and then rich just looking at the camera and saying 'bye'. For me it really epitomised how quick stuff happens like that, especially college and life at that age - things just end. We've all got to go our own ways from where we grow up, and it just springs on you - which is probably why there wasn't such a build up this season. Overall, I loved it, really well done. This gang have been brilliant at making you disappointed at a part of an episode, and then totally changing it around and making you love it - which I guess also relates to a lot of life.

I'm sad it ended, I'll miss this gang just as much as the rest now they managed to turn it into a really interesting last season, even if it started a little weird.

Here are my thoughts:
I really love how it ended for Richard, he's such a great guy and deserves to be happy I also loved how it ended for Alo and Minie, they're great together!

But for Liv, it could of been better, it's good that she made up with Minie but I think she should of went to Thailand with that guy who I forgot his name xD

Yeah Frankie's problems should of got resolved, she wasn't even there to see Minie's baby :O She also should of ended up as respective friends with both Nick and Matty, and Nick should of found some kind of happiness

Was really sad to see Matty turn him self in though :/ I liked him aha

Watched it on 4od earlier, Loved the ending, I hate how they all have to break up in every season though. I'm kind of glad that Frankie found her mum, but why did her sister say she was dead? Rather pointless. Frankie was soo much better in the season 5, she changed too much for season 6, and it irritates me.

I didn't want Matty to turn himself in either, he was a nice guy. Rich was definitely my favorite character though, I love how the beginning of the season was so dark for him, but he was just a generally happy guy in the last few episodes, throughout the whole season, despite being in love with grace, I think he's probably the only one who didn't lose their mind? I was sad that Grace died though, she was so jolly.

Nicks episode was a bit shit though IMO, we saw a nice tit and arse in it at least? It just didn't make sense how he punched a mafia sort of guy, and had no repercussions? AND HOW THE HELL DID MATTY GET BACK?

Can't wait until next year, I want to know what became of cook, and if Sid actually found Cassie, the name of Alo and Minie's baby? (If it's not called Grace, that'd be pretty dumb, I hope it's not called something like Judy, or Caroline), but the 2nd generation gang won't be the same without Freddie, he probably comes second to Rich in my favorite characters of the whole skins franchise (if that's the right word?). I liked Thomas too, he run very fast, like a dog.
I don't really understand how season 7 will work though, because most of the characters have been broken up at the end of each generation? Whatever, it's Skins, they'll make it work <3


Still, I'm sad that it will be ending next year, what will I have to look forward to?

surprised you both didn't want matty to turn himself in.. he basically had to, and I never liked him that much, he was, as frankie said, just a head fuck. didn't really seem to care what happened to others enough.

and also.. liv should have gone with alex? Why? so she could be a fag hag all her life? It wouldn't have been happiness, and that was basically the point of why she stayed. Alex wasn't really ever there for her.

the frankie and horseface (actor who plays her sister was in a film a few years ago called 'wild child' and gets the nickname horseface, so me and anna always call her horseface now, haha..) thing was TOO rushed and just made it hard to take in/seem believeable. She just suddenly an episode or two ago started to give a shit about her mum and stuff.

Overall, a muddled, weird, yet wonderful at the same time series. As I said before - this gang have been brilliant at making you disappointed at a part of an episode, and then totally changing it around and making you love it. Overall, I loved this season, and I'm also mega happy with the ending for rich. He was my favourite character, reminded me a lot of my younger self, just like sid in season 1.

Lol sorry to revive this thread so late on, but I just finished seasons 1 and 2 (lol I'm such a noob! started Skins at season 5 xD) and felt like talking about the show!

So sad that Chris died, and I felt sorry for Tony, who never really reconnected with Sid until the end I loved the 1st generation, they're all fantastic characters + actors!

yaay another skins fan and haha, yea, me=sid, rather amusingly so.

I'm torn between 1+2 and 3+4.. I think 3+4 are slightly more my favourite.. its such an intense two seasons.

Chris was a legend, the whole end to season 2 is pretty amazing.. I think that's something that skins seem to be fantastic at is ending a season, the end to season 6 was brilliant, and 4 equally so. They're all so different, such a shame we've only got one season left, and its not even a proper season.

Aha, Kerry even had to travel half way across the world to find his girlfriend too!
But yeah, the season endings are always fucking awesome, but I loved 5+6 more than any other season, probably because the endings were happy, they kept the death to the beginning of the 2nd season of the gen.
Fucking Freddie though, he's my favourite throughout the entire series, followed by Rich <3

Well I preferred seasons 1 and 2 to 5 and 6
Thats because it was made better, in the last two seasons they felt that they had to have a cocaine shot of everyone as well as a sex scene, it never went without either of the two

However, in seasons 1 and 2 it was more about emotions and the sex scenes were...emotional, not just for the sake of portraying a traditional teenager!

Aha, season 3/4 was the worst for drugs! They only really smoked joints in 5/6, not so many hard drugs
