| I want to make a small fingerboard park/plaza but I don't know what material to use? I want it to be a sort of 'concrete' fingerboard park but I don't know if concrete is the best material. Does anyone know a good material for it? Thanks |

| If you want a wooded park I would suggest that you use birch plywood maybe 1/2 inch thick |

| any wood thicker than 1/4 inch is going to be verry difficult to bend. infact i would recomend verry thin wood - and making a couple layers of it to get it to bend. use glue to bond each layer on top of whatever curved surface your doing.
my setup will include: a few 12" by 12" square marble or granite tiles to use as the floor for smooth rolling surface and build wood ramps and obsticles with metal coping on them.
im just stuck on how high up to make it. as i hate feeling like im leaning over all the time to fingerboard.. cause im tall |

| cardboard, make it well and if you get bored you can throw it away and make a new one, plus it's easy as hell and pretty much free. |

this actaully \ but if you make it well and realley enjoy it - you can paint it with fiberglass resin and it will be rock hard for years |

| if you plan to make it from paper and cardboard - you can use hot glue to help get it together quickly - and use paper mache / mix of glue and shreded newspapers to help mold certan weird transitions or realley round parts..
then wait for it to dry - and sand / cut off the high spots - and apply fiberglass resin to the top side , and underside if you can still get to it.
if you do a good job with the fiberglass it wont need much final sanding when done... and if it still seems flimsy = you can do another layer of fiberglass on top - with a layer of fiberglass matt on top. thats how they build boats. just coat after coat of fiberglass resin and cloth matt applied to a shape they wish to make |
