| It's decent. Not very original yet, but that might change with the vocals. But originality is something a lot of hardcore/post hardcore/metalcore etc. bands struggle with. The drums sounds like shit. Not what they play, but how they sound. I don't know if EZDrummer would sound better, you might wanna check it out. The guitar sound needs more definition IMO. Your break at about 0:35 sounds a bit weird.. I'm a negative person so i point out the negative stuff. I'll let others give you feedback on the positive |

| No i really do appreciate it, this kind of feedback is way more valuable than empty praise. And I actually totally agree with everything you said, I just havn't gotten around to fixing that stuff yet. I wrote it and recorded it in the same day, i wanted to get it down so i could remember. I tried EZDrummer, but I prefer beatcraft. I did the drums at school and i had forgotten to put the drum sound packs on my comp so yeah they do sound like shit. As for the guitar definition, its improved a lot since i recorded it but do you have any suggestions as to how to further it? Its funny you should mention the break at 0:35. that is literally just an improv riff that i decided to keep.
Thank you so much your criticism actually makes me want to fix those things! |
