| Pretty chill, but its missing something. Unless you wanna use it as background music for a video or something.
What program do you use to record? I'd suggest you try and EQ those string slides out.
Other than that, it sounds pretty awesome. |

| I just recorded this with a mic and put one track on top of the other in Audacity haha, don't have a clue about mixing. Also, this is the kind of music I listen to and write, it is background music, like a soundtrack for life (that sounds pretentious as fuck, I know). |

| I get what you mean Alex. Audacity has a few effects that you can try and use for lowering the noise from the strings. And you should also be able to download VST plugins for it if you wanna go fancy (and nerdy ) I'd suggest you put a few more layers of stuff on it. Like a few harmonies with the guitar or something. |

| As much as I appreciate whatever you just said, I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT VST PLUGINS ARE hahaha. I'm not even going to bother trying to fix this recording, I'm hopeless with music technology. Just want to write a set of songs that I can have recorded properly in summer. I like your suggestion though, I'm actually thinking about playing the keyboard part on piano, then having a simply keyboard background thing going on. I'll try out a few things. And thanks to the other guys too. |

| This song is really good! nice and simple, yet it has a lot of presence and personality. I think you might like Explosions in the Sky if you like life soundtrack music.
I think I'll start posting some of my music too! |
