First thing i would do is pull my shlong out attach it to the top off the cliff then when i get back up i will wrap it round there neck and kill them !

Man, I love these challenges although it's cooler if they are in Paint so we can draw and annotate directions and strategies.

Anyhow, your challenge is very difficult but I would do this:
Quickly pull off my jacket/outer clothing but hold onto the sleeves for the dual purpose of increasing air resistance and also potentially catching a protrusion on the cliff face to stop myself from falling. Now being stuck on the cliff face, I'd see the surroundings to see if I can climb up/down the cliff either complete or just to a more stable area all whilst shouting for help or taking my phone out of my pocket and phoning emergency services.

OK. Here is my scenario.



You are in the base of a glacial valley.

To the left, there are thousands of wild large cats (lions, tigers, cheetahs, panthers, etc) infected with the Rage virus running towards your current location.

To the right is a fast moving avalanche that will engulf you in 1 hour. There are also some small trees here.

To the bottom, there is a rough wooden fence that cordons off a vast minefield that is untraversable by surface.

At the top is the sea, densely populated by fatally poisonous jellyfish.

The beachhead is guarded by a cluster of sentry guns, each equipped with motion and heat (IR) sensors, capable of firing around 360 degrees and also with vertical pivoting of the guns, practically no blind spots due the large coverage of all the sentry guns. The beachhead is flat with no other obstacles in a completely open area.

Assume that there are no gaps between each danger but the only gap is currently in the center where you are located.

You are equipped with a small mirror, a laser pointer and 5m of rope. You also have all of your current clothing and anything in your pockets or person (eg. keys, necklace, knife, mobile phone).

Other parameters: The weather is fair and the day is a typical Winter day. All standard telecommunications systems have gone down.

I may add more parameters or clarification to this scenario if I think it needs any changes. Good luck.
