| Hey guys, I've been working on this concrete barrier mold for a long time and put concrete in yesterday. But I was also so impateint that I took it out 4 hours after. And everything chipped like crazy. Can you guys tell me why and what should I do so that it will turn out smooth. Also if you know what material harriers are made out of or liska ledge please pm me! |

| Leave it in the mold for longer and it wont chip as bad |

| put something in the mold that will make the concrete come out smoothly when it dries. You can use a little car wax. Also let it sit for at least 2 days. If you are really impatient you could use hydraulic cement, which dries much faster but probably wont come out as smooth. |

| I wait a week on all my molds,second you need to take a pencil or stick and just prod the mix after u pour to get airbubbles out,third go buy some clear stain varnish for wood and coat it when dry this protects it as well as giving it good slide. I rarely have to wax mine.

i do try to get the airbubbles out but its nothing comes up. |
