My only setup......... I dropped it going onto an elevator and it fell right into the crack of where the door slides. I'm pretty sure I almost cried haha. That was the suckiest moment of my life.

i seem to remember on action movies that guys climb through the loft in the elevator then get into the shaft you could then hang on the wires holding the elevator upo, and slide down them to find your board ....then get squashed when someone wants the ground floor.

maybe a good idea would be for fingerboarders to have a leash like surfers have. might be a good idea when seshing outside.....like a piece of string round your wrist, tucked into your sleeve, then if your board did fly away, you can pull it back

I lost a wooden tech deck to a staircase that was hollow underneath... I know it was just a wooden tech deck but it was the best fingerboard I had at the time.

same thing happend to me, I lost the my setup in the bus stop and i found it beneath the foot path, luckily no one stabbed on it.

What building was that in? Perhaps you could talk to someone in charge of maintaining the building to see if you can have access to the elevator shaft. Probably won't happen but it's worth a try.

Maybe you can access the bottom trhougt the lower door. Ask someone if you can try at least.

Oh shit, that's not good. One time i dropped my Yellowood Browny with blacriver trucks and winkler wheels in a well. I called my dad and he helped me to bend up the well and then i got it

I dropped my setup in cat milk 1 week ago .___. But it felt only on the trucks, so my decks wasn't wet
I screwed everything off my deck so I could dry everything
But the day after, I dropped it in the water (for my cat) the deck was wet :'( But I dried it quick and it isnt warped or water logged!
anyways, try with a string with a magnet attached to it, so you can lift it with the magnet part to your trucks!
