Those arguments are as shitty as the back of my boxers after a Star Wars marathon. Why were Adam and Eve painted with belly buttons? - Because the painter didn't take into consideration that they wouldn't have any. How could god say "let there be light"? - Well, he obviously didn't. But he communicated something similar. You do realize that the bible was not written in english right? |

| My bad guys, gravity is a law, but there is "gravitational theory" which is that we theorize that if we drop something t will fall, etc. We don't know for sure, but it is very probable, and is nonetheless still a theory. And Simon, I don't think somebody is foolish for just not believing in the theories of the day, rather I think they are foolish for not believing because of something else that has little to no evidence, i.e. Creationists. |

| DOUBLE POST for a new topic within this topic, mainly towards Americans as I am not sure If they have a pledge similar to ours in UK, Europe, etc...
Is it wrong that I do not say the pledge of allegiance every morning? I do it for two reasons : 1. I do not believe in saying "under God" when this "God" is against my beliefs and being made to say it in a government institution is unconstitutional. 2. I refuse to pledge , basically, my entire being towards a nation/cause that I do not believe in 100%. If everybody blindly follows Big Brother like a large majority do, we could wind up in a situation similar to Naziism, in a way. (In my eyes Nationalism is basically akin to Racism, "OUR NATION IS THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHERS!"). |

| America's good things kinda equal out with the bad things. "Freedom of speech", shitty healthcare. Right to bear arms, "Friday," by Rebecca Black. It all evens out. |

| if the pope was born near Mecca he would have been a muslim. He is only catholic because of where he was born / upbringing. Not because a greater power gave him a predisposition to believe in the catholic religion. God can't be real if you can be born somewhere else and believe in an entirely different god. it's just down to location, so how can one religion know their God exists, but the other religions' gods don't? |

| the thing is, all the worlds religions are based around the same story, just little details are changed as they were written by a different hand. (quite probably). |
