just try and flick your finger a bit up/down when doing an ollie. You will get it sometime. That is how i learnt it (down obviously for kickflip and up for heelflip)

Don't flick your fingers, it's all in your finger stance. Keep your front finger on the side of the board closest to you, so sometihng kind of like this.... ___________________
.................................... ( ) < back finger ___( )_______________ ^ .......Front finger (the periods are just to take the place of spaces)
Then just let your front finger slide off the side of the deck as you Ollie.

Kickflips are harder than heelflips. Took me a while to learn heelflips. But with kickflips I put my fingers in the position of an ollie. Then I just slide up a little and wait for it to flip and catch the foam and poop.
Heelflips I tend to do differently. I set my fingers up like an ollie. Then I move my fingers to the right side of the board almost on the tip then I Curl. And I have my back finger on the tip of the tail curled. And I pop, I flick out, STRAIGHT OUT, watch the board flip, catch the foam and poop.
It's 11:00pm and I just woke up from a nap so If any of you can't understand what I just typed well there's your explanation.

Practice makes perfect is the best advice you can get man, it takes time to learn a forum can't make you kick flip after a few responses.. Practice and be patient and learn to flick with your front finger at the peak height of your ollies
