I'm planning to buy this yellowood rare burls exotic thing from a guy. I have it on hold, but I want to know if you guys can tell me if its a real yellowood rare burls.

ask for a side pic before you buy it. if it has the signature yellow, black, etc... plies and the yellowood shape then it's more than likely a yellowood.

does every yellowood have yellow and black plys cuz he says its maple balck maple black than bottom ply

then it isnt a yellowood. every one has yellow, not maple.

also, ask the dude if it has a yellowood logo on the top. That might mean its legit. And I dont think maple is a color. It's just a type of wood. Ask the seller if its natural or yellow plies.

old yellowoods don't have a logo on top. it's real though, you can clearly see a yellow ply underneath it.
