Do you really think there is an answer to that? If there was one material that was the best, then every wheel company would use it. The Substance THC materials are some of the best materials ever though. |

| Why the majority of the decks in the market are longer than 98mm ? I hate long decks and it's pretty hard to find 98mm boards or shorter... Their is berlinwood, some little french brands, and that's it...

The boards are usually longer than 98mm because of the wheel base. It isn't that the nose and tail are really long, it's just that the space between the wheels is longer and the kicks are a regular length. |

| It's because they got wider aswell.
A 98x32mm deck will look really fat. However with a few extra mm on the length they will come out closer to a real skateboard. |

unique are 98x32, and REALLLLLY good and worth every penny. www.unique-decks.com , you can read my review on unitefingerboarding in the review archive. but yea, most decks are longer because the width makes them look fat at 98 - but I love a 98-99mm deck, I think fat looks great. it's all down to preference |

| Yeah I like my boards fat. Like a really short and wide deck with big ass trucks, as a wide low with brt wides for example. I dont know why, it's just when I look at my deck when I'm riding, it makes me feel that my setup is more controlable, maybe it's only in my head, but I love that feeling. Thank's Kerry, I'll check them out . Do anyone have a pic of this deck from the top ? I'm interrested. |
