Well the design isn't original. Jackson really liked the split ply and wanted a deck like the one he saw so I used the same design so it is in no way my idea. I did use the two tone for the trunk though like you mentioned  |

Yeah it's the new mold! Different veneer will take shape differently to the mold so that is why most likely. Maybe I just tightened the vice tighter too haha. |
