^Nice, but is the term grime just another word rap basically?

Because I used to follow grimedaily before their channel got shut down and to be honest, 'grime' to me didn't sound different, flow wise, than any fast type of rap.

Correct me if i'm wrong but is there really a difference between grime and rap?! or is grime just what they call rap in the UK...
