Anyone going this year? Turns out ultrabowl in sweden is gonna cost me like £350 for the whole trip, and fuck can I afford that to say the least. ASI I can do for like £130 including money for food and such, so I'm going hopefully.

Who else is going? If anyone from the UK wants to join me for the trip to Berlin, could be pretty epic! ASI was a ton of fun last year, and Berlin is always awesome.

I would be able to go to the ultrabowl if it would be in the north sweden, but it's in the south so it's like 4000km drive from here

yea, 24+hr drive down to ultrabowl, haha.. couldn't you fly to copenhagen or something?

and callum it'd be the same price, its only cheaper if you're like 12 or younger. I'm waiting to hear back from timo on the sleeping arrangements there, but if its like last year we can stay free

its really simple.

eurolines bus return to berlin. for me its 100 from bristol.

stay free at the ASI sleeping area.

get 40 euros for food for friday/saturday/sunday, which is like £30. That covers all we need, we'd only need two singles on the U bahn from zentralleromnibusbahnhof to warschauer str, which is 2 or 3 euros. Berlin is FULL of cheap food, especially in that area, you can go to PIZZA DACH and get pizza for 2 euro 50 takeaway that's really reaally nice. Tons of awesome cheap kebabs too for like 3 euros. So 10 a day for food + u bahn money = less than 40 euros.

I know your first reaction to this is 'OHMYGOD BUSSES SUCKKKKK I WANT TO FLYYYY' - but really it goes a fuck load quicker than you'd think, and eurolines are really comfy.


And that sucks axel next year we'll work together early and arrange a sick event there

we're talking eurolines thom, not flights I just checked eurolines and its exactly the same price for you, I think they have UK connections to london at a set rate or something.

but fair play if you're not up for a 24 hr bus journey
