| Trucks aren't hard to get made. Im skeptical of the whole thing because of the money it costs to make them. Not only is it hundreds of dollars to get a mold machined but then you've got the cad drawing and finding the person to actually make the trucks. Now if you had this kind of money why aren't your ramps and decks better quality? Idk it doesn't really add up right. But hey if you make your own trucks then sweet man we could use another truck company. |

| Like i said before Ryan, it's alot simpler than every "big" company make it out to be.
Get a tech deck truck or a nicely shaped truck you have. Then simply get some molding silicone or what ever else and make up a tiny box around the truck.
Now pour in your materal for the mold and let it set. Now remove the truck. Then cut the mold in half in a zig zag pattern so you can make sure it closes exactly the same. But cut about 4/5th of the way so its like a flap.
Then pour in your truck material usually cast iron or some other type of resin or something. Then let the mixture set hard. Then take apart. Remembering to rub some vaseline or some anti-stick before molding.
Now take out the truck and sand away the mold mark if theres one.
Then get the appropiate size drill piece for the axle buy a pre-fabricated axle and insert it.
Done = profit
Dont hate |

Dont hate I never once said it was hard I said it was expensive and there's not nearly as much information out there about making trucks or getting them made as thereis about making a deck. It was never about it being hard. Shit give me $1500 and I'll come up with some trucks myself that I can go get machined down the street from me. |

| I wasnt referring to how BRR and YW made their trucks.
I was merely suggesting a way this kid could of possibly made his trucks. |

| Yes I understand. But wouldnt there be more kids that would be making trucks with your method? The only legit trucks I know are brt, y's, woody wood. |

I was merely suggesting a way this kid could of possibly made his trucks. If soembeody were to do it with this method it would be time consuming. and if the truck is just a hand poured china truck, the cost is going to be shot up because of the time involved. if thats the case you might as well just shape china trucks and sellt hem for cheepzies. Plus the drilling wouldnt work, the epoxy couldnt hold up to the constant pressure on the axels, and TD trucks are poured around the axles. PLus the drillling would be hardly what we consider consistent. but yeah im super skeptical about this if he really does it, good for him, if he doesnt, im just gonna ignore this like most of the other threads like it. |
