That sounds like a total win time.

Just made this today, extension to my park! Reallly happy with it, its sooo fun, I seshed it before I painted it. Raised section 30x30cm with a small quarter wall thing thats like 10cm high, with about 5cm of vert. Sooo fun!
Really happy with how it turned out too.. Its moveable btw, I don't have to have it here, so I can still have the flatland area if I want


(kicker shows the size of it, kicker is brr size)

I'm thinking of raising up the grass gap to half of the height of it (the raised bit is 6cm high) and making it like a planter, so it'd look a bit like a stairset as well as being a raised planter for flatland tricks. Probably will do that very soon ^__^

Its nice finding little bits of left over wood that happen to be exactly 30x30cm, and another thats 15x30 (Y)

I'm really loving the park though, its small, simple, but has almost everything on it you could want.. I think the only thing I might do after raising the grass gap into a little planter, is extend the hubba out a bit so its a bit longer, and maybe get marble on top of it + the two little grind ledges at the other end of the park:)

Cool, i want to get some little bits of grass / hedges for my 'park'.
Like how Harald Schoen puts hedges before / after obsticals sometimes.

go to a model shop, they're fun places and grass stuff costs like 4 quid for a pretty big bag. I dunno where he gets the more plasticy looking grass stuff, I've never seen it in any model shop I've been too.. : o

(sorry for double post but if I didn't post again this wouldn't get bumped and people wouldn't see it. I'm proud of it, so, I'll let myself off for double posting as I'd let anyone else off in the same situation doing the same thing ^_^)

Planter finished! Ahhh its soo fun and soo sick! Again, like the raised bit I made yesterday, its moveable, so I can use it as a long grind block as well! Gonna get some square coping and put it on the side if I'm ever not poor. Its added sooo many possibilities to my park with the raised section as well. I <3 it.

Yea, now I've added stuff, I'm not giving it away any more. It was boring me, but, just the two simple things I've added have rekindled my love for it <3

All I have is a hand saw. I imagine bending wood is also really hard, and I dunno where to get cheap veneer.. I'd need a jigsaw to properly make the frame. If I had a jigsaw, I'd look into how much it'd cost, but, yea, I think I'ma just ask for a winkler dos, give blackriver a little love as I've not brought from them in a fair while

And also, yea, I'd not thought of that but it kind of does look like the old berrics bit : o

i have a hegner saw, pretty much same as a jigsaw, i got it for £10 from my mums freind

THESE ARE NOT COMPLEATLY FINISHED BTW

I was bored so i thought i would make these, I have seen those crappy lolly stick ones kids make and they suck

They kinda look like a 3D noughts and crosses board rather than a wooden pallet.
Personally i think i have done pretty wel with these. What do you think?
