| So, here's a little story about me getting my google nexus 7. It turned up today, although perhaps only due to some kind of divine intervention. I'm srs, read on. I don't have a working doorbell in my house, and live in an attic flat, so its impossible to hear a delivery person knock on the door. I left instructions for them to phone me when they were here so I could run downstairs, but was told they wouldn't be able to do that.. So after it was supposed to turn up saturday and didn't, I find out it was sent to the wrong depot. Monday it goes back to the right depot, so its out for delivery today. I got everything done super early and waited in for it all day, but at 3pm I figured 'I bet they've delivered it and not said anything, I'll go downstairs and see if there's a 'we tried to deliver but you were out' card'. Keep in mind at this point I have no idea when in the day it was turning up. Walking down the many stairs on the 1st floor I hear a loud knocking on the door. I ran down the last stairs, opened the door, and out of some inexplicable bout of luck I managed to walk downstairs and check if they'd already delivered it the very same second they delivered it. How the fuck does that happen? Someone up there likes me today, haha. Maybe that makes up for the fact that I've gotta go to the supermarket and its pissing it down to gargantuan proportions XD TL;DR? crazy timing to say the least. And I got my nexus 7  :D:D |
