the lower right corner seems to be split... Not sure if it is, but if so you'll have to do more than sand it down... try chipping the wood up and filling it with a bit of wood putty then sanding it, that if it is even chipped lol :p

But that's sick! how much was it if you dont mind me asking?

i wouldn't let Danny anywhere near that with his orbit sander... very happy

if you wanted to clean it up a bit with sandpaper, i would do it by hand and fine paper.....the thing is the sweat and muck will be soaked into the wood, so your never going to get it looking brand new again, i guess you could, but itrs got to be done by hand imho.....with fine sandpaper on a wooden block wink

hope to sesh that badboy again soon wink

i think you should leave it be....it has a nice patina that tells a story wink many epic sessions gone down on that ramp...i bet Eddie and Thom have landed unbelievable tricks on this b4 that have never made it to film.

if you did want to get rid of the muck and make it new looking, the best method (i can see) would be to soak the ramp where you will be sanding it......this will raise the grain of the wood and bring the majority of the muck up, then use a block of wood with a fine paper...like over 220 grit, (you use the block so you can sand in lines and you wont rub one part more than another).....and sand in even stokes up and down...as if you were seshing it with your sanding block very happy

thats how i would sand it anyways....but what do i know??? tongue

or maybe even give it a deep clean/wipe with something to clean the muck out.....but if the riding surface is bumpy, a light sand would do.
