To find the thread where Kerry posted his PC specs, can anyone remember where it was? I'm sure it was before he got his canon?
My pc is broken, so I'm going to order the parts to built a new one asap, I recall Kerry saying that his PC would only cost 300-400 quid now, that's around my price range.

Cheers in advance happy

u cud jus tex me bro.

srsly though?
AMD phenom II black edition 955 (quad core 3.2 ghz)
ATI Radeon Sapphire HD6850 Toxic edition (1gb vram)
6gb RAM
500gb SATA III 7200 rpm HDD

I forget the motherboard off hand, but it's a gigabyte one. Case is Xigmatek. PSU is now a OCZ mid-top range one as my last one blew up, I'd recommend spending at least 40 on a PSU as cheap ones don't do the job and cause your PC to get mega hot, especially if you're gaming.

I imagine you can get that spec or similar for 400, mine cost me 600 back in jan 2011.

I didn't want to disturb you at work, aha happy

Thanks though man, I'll look into pricing tomorrow! My pc is dead, it won't boot most of the time and when it does I get the dreaded blue screen when I try to load anything, aha. It is 6 years old though and wasn't great to begin with shocked

I think I could substitute the graphics card for something a bit lower range because I won't be gaming, I just want something fast and reliable happy

lmao my work isn't like that.

yea my gpu was £150, you could go or a 6500 series or something. or even probably the 8500 series are cheap now, and the 8000s are the latest ones.

my old pc lasted 11 years and it still works fine though very happy

I know that feel. My laptops have died on me so many times. You can rescue any files with a linux live cd/usb drive if you need to. GL.

And does this mean you will make more videos?

Just sat with my brother for a while and figured out a complete setup with a new HD monitor for £441 happy
Pm me your email and I'll be able to email the shopping cart to you? It'd be good to have a second opinion on things to ensure everything will work shocked
