I do, im actually going to see of mice and men live in February.

I definetlty get down with metal, not much recently but I try. Evita, Poison the Well, All that Remains, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Haste The Day, Burden of a Day to name most of the people I listen to out of that genre.

yea they are pretty good, I havent heard that track or album ill have to check it out

That sounds like an awesome line up, last gig I went to was BMTH, pierce the veil, architects and parkway drive but that was back in October, I've been working too much to get to gigs recently

pierce the veil is sick, must have been sick to see them. Both of those lineups are amazing with the exception of parkway drive haha, cant get into them for some reason

Yeah I'm not a massive parkway drive fan either, there's a few songs of theirs that are solid but that's about it.

True, but that's the way the metal scene's moving at the moment. Give it a few years and it'll change again.

I dont think legit metal bands will ever be popular again.

Most of these like new 'metalcore' bands work just like pop music, most of the fans are retarded 13 year old girls that find the band attractive. Its nothing to do with music any more in any form of popular music really.
Its just sad to see an inspirational genre of music, and the subculture it created, watered down and commercialised purely for profit.

All these metalcore, grindcore and other core ending genres are just utter shit imo. But everyone can listen what they want I guess.
