I'm planning on getting a mechanical keyboard in a few days cause mine died. Any suggestions?

Do you like loud and clicky? Or Soft and smooth? and what do you mainly use you keyboard for?

Soft and Smooth and mainly for browsing and some gaming.

I didn't find that bit funny as I just got a CMStorm...

anyways, keyboard(s) and setup look magnificent! With my next check I'm considering going out and picking up a new monitor( ASUS VS238H 23" http://www.frys.com/product/6999317?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG ) as I'm currently using a 19" Vizio...haha.

Edit: @Myhotcaffeine, that keyboard looks deadly! shocked

there's nothing wrong with cmstorms, except that everyone was posting the exact same keyboard over and over and i just found it annoying.

the asus is a great monitor. my three monitors are just some cheapo Phillips IPS ones. they work and they're cheap, though I regret not researching more about monitors before I bought them.

sounds like you'd want some red switches. they're soft (only 45cn actuation, which means they take very little force to press down) and they're linear so they don't have the clicky-ness like other switches have.

the cmstorm quickfire is quite a popular choice. you could also try a rosewill which are cheap and pretty good.
