I was thinking of getting a prowood complete, but I was wondering what everyones opinions are on the company/merchandise, as I have never purchased anything from them.

More specifically on their extreme mold decks, their hp trucks, and their classic bearing wheels.

Trucks are china, wheels are china. Don't buy that shit.


Generally too much china shit on their site to make them worthy of anyones support.

Buy from the scrolling banner can you not tell by the name prowood that they are shite?

i know that prowood isnt a huge favorite brand here, but i just want to say that i do ride prowood decks and i will explain why.

i used to ride techdecks for a long time. when i first found out about the wooden boards i started ordering from many companies.

i ordered from:

homewood
prototek
pure
redemption
close up
prowood

so i started trying these companies out and the one board that made all of my tricks that i used to do on a techdeck work was the prowood.

so i ride prowood decks as a personal preference.

however i only order decks from them.

lol i only prefer pro wood ultra tape

that isn is like fbs!

With all of the choices available, I'd recommend trying any of scene companies.

While I've never used a Prowood, I can say that I have setups by everyone in the banner (except OG) and can thoroughly recommend any of them! Whether you're looking for an old school vert deck, an amazing split ply or a spectacular custom, the guys here represent the state of the art.

Other recommended brands to consider include the awesome Woob, amazing Queens Decks and loving Mikers fingerboards too!

While the transition may be easier from a Tech Deck to a ProWood like someone mentioned in this thread, there's a certain satisfaction from getting used to decks. That to me is how you find your preference.
