Found this little dude sitting on the path outside my house chillin in the sun.

I tried to catch it to sit on one of my fingerboards to take a pic but it was far too fast, I've only ever seen one of these before at the beach, never knew they roamed about the streets! very happy

Yeah, I was thinking maybe a bird picked it up and dropped it or something?

I've only ever seen one other live one here in Scotland before, found it strange to find one just sitting on the pavement outside my house though.

Is it just a sand lizard?

Common Lizard apparently, and they are meant to be pretty common, I'm 34 and it's only been in the last 4 years that I'd ever seen these before, though I live in a coastal village now, always lived further in land before so maybe that's why.
