ok so to clear things up, i di some resaerch on this wicked stix berlinwood thing, everything you will read is not written by me however was written by thomas from BRR 4 years ago on fingerflip inc.
I do not want to get involved to much in this discussion, because it is to stupid to spend time on.
First of all it takes a lot to run a company.
Of course someone producing a few decks a week in his basement beside school or job will be able to sell stuff extremely cheap.
What people obviously always forget:
A real company pays taxes (!!!!), has costs developing products, having a warehouse, production sites, raw materials, fair wages, health insurance for the employees, administration, im/export taxes, exchange rates the list goes on.
I noticed a lot of stupid hating going on here for a long time. That is sad, but who cares anyway?
Do we feel like arguing or even vindicate ourselves? No, not at all! :-) It is not neccessary because the intentions of some people clearly can be read between the lines.
Stating BRR would be in it for the money is like totally dinying the over 10 year history and effort of the company, when for all these years noone gave a shit about fingerboarding and Martin still living for his dream.
It is less than 36 hours ago Martin gave away 15 brand new skateboard decks for free just because he was so happy seeing people having a good time at the fast fingers.
15 (!) boards and the kids kicked his glasses out of his face trying to grab the boards. hell yeahhh
So it is more than strange, what a few people are writing here...
Fast Fingers is known to be a contest where everyone shows up with their homemade boards, ramps, riptapes etc to sell and trade. At no point this was prohibited by BRR at all.
Like said before, it makes no sense spending too much time on all this "hating" bullshit.
Everyone is free to drop by one day here at BRR to check us out... this is like the only valid base neccesary being able to post statements without making a fool out of oneself.
Martin is by far the most legit man to ever get involved in fingerboarding. He is living it 24/7.
Why a few people always find so much fun in talking bullshit all day long, i do not know...
I would like to invite all the haters for a session so you get a chance to really see for yourselves or you will simply be ignored when going on hating. :-)

Oh, and i wanted to clear up some information regarding WS:
A lot of false and also true rumors have been circulating the internet for over a year now.
WS never stole a Berlin Wood mold.
For a short time a few unauthorized Berlin Wood boards could be found at SHQ produced by WS.
WS and SHQ were contacted and WS didn´t care at all. Instead of appologizing WS started hating massivly on the internet just like posts that still can be found on youtube etc. The prrof is out there haha
This is something we tried to stay out of as much as possible.
SHQ chose to work together with WS, so we decided not to do business with SHQ any longer back then.
A few weeks ago the people behind SHQ finally realized how WS was behaving on the internet, were shocked and decided to end all business with WS.
SHQ having the rights for the WS webpage shut down the WS website.
SHQ being the distribution for WS stopped all distributional activities for WS.
This is what is refered to when you read - WS is dead!
SHQ appologized for the whole WS thing. I am still a little unsecure about how to think about this but basically i think it might be a first step in the right direction.
Since noone here really wants any beef with anyone we hope the beef will be over now.
There is way too much hating present in fingerboarding anyway.
So...ws is dead! SHQ appologized, NW is chilling as well so there should be no reason to fight at all. those are the basic facts. How you choose to look at it is up to you. Luckily most people are tired of fighting!
Noone expects people to become best friends but we all should calm down and put the focus on fingerboarding instead of politics.
Instead of hating please talk to people. This will inspire them and it will inspire you!
