Not sure how it would feel to be grinding and sliding on acrylic plastic or wood as a replacement for a concrete curb. Might be too light to use by itself (I've never worked with the stuff). The price is good though and there's lots of nice patterns. I would use it as a ledge on top or inlayed edges for a box.
