Hey everyone, I just wanted to tell you about an up and coming thing I've been working on lately. I came up with a cool idea for a new fingerboarding crew! I'm currently calling it Flip Club FB Crew and if you are interested in joining, the rules are simple:

1. Make a video of your best tricks!

2. Shoot it off to me by email (seanmbroderick@earthlink.net)

3. I will watch all sent videos and will select the four best videos and will follow up with those lucky winners.

4. You can only submit videos to apply this month (for now, I will make other future application times).

Note to the people who don't make the crew: I am just selecting four for now, all hope for you is not lost. I will keep a contact list and when I really kick off the crew, I will be accepting more people.

What I am looking for:

1. People with sick tricks

2. People who are creative with obstacles (book ramps, pencil rails, etc.)

3. People who are fun and unique!

Flip Club FB Crew is very chill and all I really expect from members is to be cool with each other and shoot the occasional video off to me to post on youtube and eventually, a team website. I want the experience to be very low pressure and fun where the crew members can become really good friends!

sounds like a pretty fun idea. i don't really get the point of necessarily having a crew. do you just post montages with each other? is it like a sponsorship in anyway? from what i understood it's just making montages with each other's clips... which can be good because it can give you all some more publicity

Yep, exactly. It's mostly just for fun, but it can gain you publicity as well. Thanks for all the good feedback guys!

Maybe you could start this on Instagram to test it out, it's a lot less effort for people to get things going on there, and there are more people that will be likely to watch. If it takes off then get it to YouTube.
