I'm in a debate whether I should go for oaks or winkler wheels since I've never had "professional" wheels before so I was just wondering how long the winkler wheels lasted. The oak's polyurethane squeaks is one down for me so I want to know how good and durable winkler wheels' bearings are. I'm new to the forum btw.

Get winklers, atleast try oaks before you buy them or buy used so its less of an investment. They are love or hate. I personally HATE them with a passion for everything but outdoor but many people swear by them. I find the noise annoying and they are never smooth. both the sets I have had had uncentered bearing which made them feel like absolute shit. On the other hand I have had loads of sets of winklers and they have all been fantastic. Flatface are a solid choice too. Check out @SiCar He makes Cartwheels which are also really good wheels, rather cheap too for the quality.

Go with winklers, they're better for most indoor surfaces.

Forever. They last forever.

Wheels last as long as you make them last - If you take care of your wheels, clean them every now and then, etc.. They'll last a while. Wheels aren't made to roll forever, but you can make em' roll forever by putting care into them!

Thanks for all the input I'll be settling with the Winkler Wheels. After much thought, in my opinion, the oak wheels would just get really annoying for me due to the squeaks especially if I want to just have a relaxed session in the middle of the night with everyone sleeping. How are the big daddy'z by the way?

I've had my winklers since Christmas and they are awesome! very smooth and perfect material!!!

Been wanting to try OAK wheels. I'll stick with winkler after reading this. Thanks all.

you probably got like water in them, that kills any bearing wheel

I prefer Oak wheels over anything I've used. I honestly don't get the hype of Winkler wheels. I had a set a few years ago and they are plastic wheels with a graphic on the side.  They roll as well as my Chinese ones which is why I sold them. Also, since they are plastic they will pretty much last forever as long as you take care of them (lube, clean them up every now and then). I haven't used the newest Winklers though, it's been a few years so I guess I can't really say anything about the newest sets.  

I use Oaks indoors and have never had one fail. The only issue I have is some are bumpy. My newest set is slightly bumpy but hardly noticable. My old set I had for a few years got pretty bumpy, but were still a good set of wheels.  I just bought a pair of RV1's off of someone and they are not bumpy at all, so results may very. The grip, sound, and smooth roll is what has me sold on the Oaks.

Winklers on brts are much smoother than any chinas. They are also more grippy than chinas but not anything like oaks.

Where do you get your oaks from? Everywhere Ive looked stateside is always sold out. I dont to sound like a pest but I dont feel like waiting around for a month.

Ive also used nothing but winkler with BRT and shitty tech deck trucks and wheels so opinion is pretty narrowed in that sense of not happening multiple brand wheel experience.

Wide BRTs. I used them on TDLB trucks too (with washers) and that set-up was decent.

Theoretically forever. They will be extremely smooth for around a year. I suggest getting a new set every so often, its always motivating. And with FlatFace wheels theres tons of different materials to try out and color ways its awesome! You can really match a nice setup.
