| So being that I am a new fingerboarder I wanted to ask what everyone's favorite
board(s)/truck(s)/wheel(s)/bearing(s)
so far I am on a complete setup I got off amazon for 18$ and I plan on getting something better and nicer if you would like you may give a reason why you like this item.
P.s By favorite I mean brand

Favorite deck brand- Berlinwood, flatface(g15 shape), Besour, Cowply
Trucks- Blackriver trucks
Wheels- Flatface Dual durometer or any other flatface wheel. (haven't tried Joycult)

Only ever had homemade decks are recently a BW. Looking forward to splurging out on new decks though.
Trucks, only ever had TD before BR. So no question there.
Wheels I had Winkler but found the hard plastic wasn't suited to my style. The Oak bowls rolls easier over rough stuff too which I like.
Again, only had FBS before but my BW complete came with rip which I quite like actually. |

| Decks - Flatface <33333 and Berlinwoods. I love these boards because of the shape and performance.
Trucks - BRTs. These are my favorite trucks just because of the smooth grind, better look, and wide versions fit wider boards. However, I can totally understand why these may be seen as pricy (I have never bought a set new), so dump trucks will do the trick totally fine.
Wheels - Dual Duros are probably my favorite, but there are lots of other Flatface wheels that I love (G4s, BRR edition, etc). Flatface wheels are awesome cause they come in so many different materials, so you can really get lots of different feels depending on which ones you try. Dual duros and G4s are incredibly smooth with little grip. BRR editions are super smooth with some grip. The list goes on. Plus, lots of their wheels fit on all trucks, and they last soooooooooo long.

Before Joycult's Ive used winkler and tech deck wheels for years. After being more "exposed" to the fingerboard scene, as of late finding out about Joycult's have been the best thing to happen to the feel of fingerboarding to me.

Deck - Berlinwood (Using an x-wide low shape)
Trucks - Blackriver (wide 32s)
Wheels - Winkler Wheels (Classics)
Tape - Riptape (Using the classic)
Based on observation other favorites would be
Decks - Flatface, Cowply, Bawsewood, Yellowood and a filipino fingerboard brand Manila Fingerboards
Wheels - Oak wheels (both RV2s and minis) & Flatface wheels
Tape - Ace tape |
