I'm thinking about making old school decks. I used to fb about a decade ago during the FFI days. I see that trucks come in two sizes now (pretty cray to me that trucks are being made now, there was only one company doing it back in the day). I have a few questions to see what you guys like:

1. Do you guys even like old school/pool shape decks? I see a lot of people are making concrete pools now which is sick, seems like they would be fun to ride

2. Do you want the decks sized for regular or wide trucks? I feel like if I sized them for regular they would have better appeal

if you have any other suggestions let me know, I'm just in the planning phase right now. I can't believe how big fingerboarding has gotten. I still need a setup, I have nothing. Let me know if there is a good place to get one at

Brutals are sick oldschools made by Trent. I enjoy riding mine! They are wide though although they work with 29mm trucks they function best with 32mm.

God those 32's just looks so nice though. I'm planning on getting a set of those and some big daddy's.

I think ideally the decks would work with either size, that will be my plan moving forward.

Do you like adhesive or screw in board rails?

I have never tried board rails before. People seem to like them and i think on oldschools they give a nice cosmetic look.
Also yeah BRT's are really nice and also i recommend winkler classics

any particular reason you like the classics? I want a bigger wheel, I always liked skating transitions and I think I want to make a concrete bowl.

ok, because I was thinking about bolt-on the other day jus because of the realism, and I saw someone was doing it, which is awesome. Stick on is just easier but they don't look quite as cool
