PostSubject: FL Fingerboards from Rome, Italy   Tue Feb 01, 2011 8:43 pm

FL was created in Rome ( Italy ), on January 24st 2010 by Lorenzo Ficini, an avid fingerboarder and an interest in deck making.
When the company started, in Italy there were lots of important and popular fingerboard decks companies like Brain Juice or DW decks.
Lorenzo wanted FL to become one of the leading fingerboard companies in Italy.
He started selling a few decks made out of a simple homemade fingerboard mold.
After one month of deck making experience, Lorenzo developed a new mold.
The result were very hardcore decks and unfortunately, a great disappointment.
This led him to work hard in the progression of deck making and eventually, to a new mold. This time it was very good!
From then on Lorenzo started to sell decks and get more excited on his interest!
During the 2010 Summer he worked hard on developing a new mold and concrete curbs.
After four months he started to produce several very good quality decks and ledges.

The decks are 100% handmade in Italy and pressed by a 1/2 wooden and 1/2 carbon fibre handmade mold.
The decks are 5 plies of first class veneer wood and have a very good clearcoat finish.
They have a definite pop.
Them are 29.7 x 10.5 x 2 mm
The tail is smaller than the nose to improve the pop and the feeling with your fingers!
They have low concave ( 1.3 mm ) and low kicks ( 17.8° tail and 17.0° nose )
Lorenzo is working on some graphics and, in about 2 months he can sell graphic decks.

Now he is working to produce some decks to sell them and maybe in 2 month he can start to sell decks.

To have more infos you can send an e-mail to: flfingerboardstuff@gmail.com

Lorenzo is looking for some good fingerboarder to sponsor them ( about 2 guys Wink )
if you are intersted you can send your youtube channel to:
flfingerboardstuff@gmail.com

Decks are €18 per deck, which includes 2 sheets of tape and stickers

they look good, but 17 deg kicks is a step up from flat......even real skateboards kicks are normally higher Smile

A lot of decks are like that, even my BW is, it's because the plies are so thin.

hi all the people!
i'm the owner of the FLFingerboardStuff, Lorenzo Ficini Wink
I would like to reply to some people Smile
The kiks are actually not really lower than bw decks, if you would like to see a picture i can have one Wink
The holes are really accurate and all kind of trucks are good for the decks, i can have a photo of the decks setted with wide trucks and oak wheels Wink
bye, Lorenzo
