| Yeah, I'd be interested in truck width too. It's occurred to me that some people ride with different widths and I get confused at why they would do that. Also, in every generation of Close Up complete boards, the decks and trucks never have the same width. Here's an example already. | Tim Lowery wrote: | Hard Knox MF= 34mm +BRT+ WITH OAKS =29.5 |

| How important is truc width? I have never tried wide trucks, what is the difference, is it all down to stability |

If you have a "regular" width deck, 25-26mm, then "regular" 25mm trucks are suited to them. If you've got a "wide deck", 28-31mm, then 29mm "wide" trucks are suited to those. People with extra wide decks use normal wide trucks or TD longboard 32-33mm trucks. I think stability does add to it but I think what's more important is that the wheels are in a suitable position close to the edges of the deck so that it doesn't make it weird for doing flip tricks. If you just have a cruiser deck, then it's not important._________________ -Xi Main setup: Close Up G5 deck, Close Up tape, G4 black/grey trucks, Close Up bearing wheels My Skateboarding YouTube | My Fingerboarding YouTube | 'dontmongo' on FFI I am currently in China and cannot upload to YouTube.
